What to expect

A NEW WAY OF WORKING

The traditional office and 9-5 work day will soon be a thing of the past. Teams will become increasingly remote, hours more flexible, and company culture will be built online. In this new era of work, how can leadership teams adapt to the needs of a digital workforce? As workspaces begin to mimic our living rooms, how can we maintain a work/life balance?

At the Future of Work track, in collaboration with Heidrick & Struggles, we’ll be exploring the answers and much more.

THEMES

Here’s what we’ll be exploring on the Future of Work stage
  • THE BOARDROOM OF THE FUTURE

We are at a tipping point, where everyone, from boardroom to entry-level employees, need to upskill their digital experience in order to thrive. At the Future of Work track, we'll be looking at which skills, culture mindset and values our tech leaders need, to run a thriving organisation in 2019 and beyond.

  • THRIVING AS AN INDIVIDUAL

Modular careers are becoming more popular – how can this enable individuals to pursue lifelong learning goals and achieve a work/life balance? We’ll be exploring how society will adapt to the changing work demands and skills required, in order to future-proof our careers.

  • SMART WAYS OF LIVING AND WORKING

Smart cities and smart workplaces will improve efficiency – but it will also improve employee happiness and creativity. What will our offices look like in twenty years? At the Future of Work track, we’ll explore how technology can transform our workspaces.
