HootSuite bolsters its App Directory with support for SurveyMonkey, Chartbeat and ContentGems

HootSuite bolsters its App Directory with support for SurveyMonkey, Chartbeat and ContentGems

HootSuite has announced three new additions to its App Directory, with SurveyMonkey, Chartbeat and ContentGems all now available through the social media management dashboard.

Launched in 2008, HootSuite lets users manage multiple social networks through a single dashboard, and the Vancouver-based company has grown into a global social media brand used by individuals and companies alike, with more than seven million users globally.

Last year, the company released its Engagement API and reeled in the likes of Digg and Trendspottr to its App Directory, and later added Instagram, SlideShare and a number of others services, before adding Reddit, StumbleUpon and more in October.

Indeed, HootSuite has been rolling out third-party app support at breakneck speed around the world in the past year, with Tencent Weibo now supported in China, and VKontakte in Russia too. There are now 55 apps and tools supported from the HootSuite App Directory.

With online survey and questionnaire platform SurveyMonkey in the bag, users can view a stream of surveys and results in real-time, including detailed summaries and responses.

“We’re very excited about this latest integration,” says Dave Goldberg, CEO of SurveyMonkey. “The ability to analyze sentiment from social streams right next to feedback from SurveyMonkey surveys is a powerful feature that allows HootSuite users to not only further engage with their social following, but make better data-based decisions.”

Likewise, Chartbeat users can view real-time traffic and performance of site content directly in HootSuite, while marketers can view ContentGems streams for relevant topics and interests too.

You can access all the new apps directly from HootSuite’s App Directory now.
