Tandem Health raises $100m to turn its AI scribe into clinic software
Stockholm’s Tandem Health has raised $100m in a Series B led by the EU-backed Scaleup Europe Fund, which EQT manages. It is the fund’s first healthcare investment, Tandem said. The company wants to turn its AI medical assistant, used by 10,000 care organisations, into software that runs whole clinics.

SoftBank shares fell as much as 13% as AI stocks sold off after Anthropic and OpenAI called for slower development. Bloomberg reported the same day that SoftBank had secured an $11.87bn loan for its OpenAI investment. It is due to repay a $25.9bn bridge loan balance on 15 September.

Automattic's board put Matt Mullenweg on paid leave on Wednesday and made its CFO interim chief executive. By Saturday the company said Mullenweg is chairman and CEO with the board's full support. It has not explained either decision. He calls it his fifth coup attempt.

ENISA and CERT-EU used an OpenAI model to find four flaws in code for an EU project, Politico reported, and one was rated high risk. Poland’s national CERT found RouterOS flaws with OpenAI models too. AISLE also ran an AI code review of the EU’s new CRA reporting platform.
