If HTC make the smartphones, we buy them. That’s the message that’s coming from the Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer today after it announced figures showing record breaking revenue for last month.

In May, HTC revenue totalled NT$18.66 billion (US$579.58 million), up 49.51% year on year, with sales from January though May bringing in NT$74.37 billion, up 34.06% year on year.

Digitimes compiled the figures and released this chart to demonstrate HTC’s rapid growth over the past year:

With the HTC Evo going on sale in the US today I’m sure HTC will be posting record revenues next month too.
