UK Milestone owners will be waking up to a pleasant surprise after Motorola has announced it will be rolling out the Android 2.1 firmware update today.
Via a Facebook update, Motorola thanked its customers for patiently waiting for the update, highlighting the enhancements the newest firmware would include.
Speech to Text, live wallpapers, the ability to customize upto 9 home screens and extra security for Exchange email are features users can expect to receive upon updating their device.
To grab this update, Milestone owners simply need to grab the firmware update from the Motorola Support Site, connect their phone to their PC and sync away.
If users are prepared to wait, an over-the-air version will be rolled out in the next couple of days.
