We all knew that it was coming, but now it is official. The Kin team is powering down and heading to the Windows Phone 7 group to help get the next Microsoft mobile product out of the gate.

Think whatever you want about the Kin, it’s always sad to see people who have worked hard for a long time have to shut their doors. Still, with the extra manpower, Windows Phone 7 may just shine a little brighter when it does come out.
