Now that the London Web Summit has come to a conclusion, it’s time for us to look forward to what comes next, in terms of technology industry events in Europe.
Hopefully needless to say, there’s our own amazing The Next Web Conference, which will feature a host of must-see speakers delivering mind-blowing keynotes, and much more, happening at the end of April in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
Two weeks after our conference, you’ll be able to find The Next Web staffers at NEXT Berlin, an event put on by German digital agency SinnerSchrader in partnership with telecom juggernaut Deutsche Telekom.
The conference, which will take place on May 8 – 9 at STATION-Berlin, will welcome around 2,000 people and serve up networking opportunities, keynote speeches and workshops on our digital future.
Confirmed speakers so far include Steve Souders (Google), Ralf Hirt (Glam Media), George Dyson (tech historian), Mikkel Svane (Zendesk), Felix Petersen (Amen), Nate Elliott (Forrester Research), Ulla-Maaria Engeström (ThingLink) and many more.
There’s also a startup competition track that you might be interested in. Fledgling tech companies can apply for a chance to win a ‘Start-up Pitch package’ provided by Deutsche Telekom, worth 10.000 Euros.
The application phase will end on April 5, so don’t hesitate too long.

Berlin is of course home to a wide range of interesting young tech companies (SoundCloud, Amen, Gidsy, Wimdu, 6Wunderkinder, wahwah.fm and MONOQI to name but a few), so we’re genuinely excited of making the trip over to one the startup capitals of Europe. See you there?
