We’re big fans of Kickstarter here at The Next Web and have highlighted our fair share of interesting projects that are coming out of the community which helps crowdsource ideas into reality.
But if you’ve ever tried to navigate Kickstarter, you probably know how hard it can be to find interesting projects unless you know exactly what you’re looking for, or unless they’ve already hit the site’s front page.
Now, as Fred Wilson points out, thanks to Anthony Volodkin, the New York-based founder of music site Hype Machine, you can literally stumble your way through all of the Kickstarter projects you have the time to find.
Kickstumbler is basically StumbleUpon meets Kickstarter. Be warned, before you click on the link, however, that you could find yourself sucked into a Kickstarter marathon that could last all day.
There are two ways you can browse Kickstarter using the new site – either stumbling through the projects themselves, with a StumbleUpon-like bar at the top of the page to take you to your next project. Or you can stumble through just the videos posted on the site.
When looking through projects you can also narrow down the results to specific categories, or just recommended projects.
The site gives you an easy way to find projects that you might have otherwise missed, and if you’re in a generous mood, there’s no reason you can’t log in to Kickstarter and make a pledge before stumbling your way on to the next project.
