Amazon UK has updated it listing for the soon-to-be-released Samsung Galaxy Tab, bringing down the price from a hefty £799 to a more reasonable £599.
When the Galaxy Tab was unveiled at IFA 2010 in Berlin, retailers immediately updated their websites to reflect pricing and release dates. The most consistent price was that of £799, a price that we speculated could possibly price the Samsung tablet out of the market when compared to the bigger and more established iPad.
That said, the prices have come down and the release date, at least on the Amazon UK site, is said to be November 1st. The price might not provide any more comfort for those on the fence but it might bring a smile to the face of those already getting out their wallets to order the device.
