Canadian photo-sharing platform 500px has relaunched one of its most popular features: Flow — a photo stream based on the actions of your 500px friends, where users can like, favorite, and comment on photos, as well as email or share them on social channels.
The new Flow is reaching all of 500px’s users today, after it was initially rolled out to the 10,000 most active 500px users last month.
What’s new in Flow? Basically 500px has made several design tweaks to let its users interact better with the photos that others have uploaded. Here is a list of the new features:
- Larger photos and full-size image viewing capability
- Inline actions for users to like and favorite photos without leaving Flow
- Intelligent grouping that displays similar actions together
- Arrow keys to browse through photos
500px’s relaunch of Flow comes as the service celebrates its four-year anniversary. The startup has been busy over the past year. It released an Android app in April 2012, followed by iPhone support in November 2012. Just two months ago, the company released a Chrome and Chrome OS app for PCs, Macs, and Chromebooks, including the touch-enabled Pixel.
