Twitter is buzzing about Timelines and Zuckerberg after Facebook’s F8 conference

Twitter is buzzing about Timelines and Zuckerberg after Facebook’s F8 conference

In a new infographic released by Simply Measured, a tool that aggregates social media data with “beautiful reports in Excel”, 7,484 Tweets with “F8” were shot into the web in the five minute period after Timeline was first announced.

“Timeline” and “Zuckerberg” appear to be the main keywords of interest, which makes sense when considering the fact that Timelines are the most drastic visual change we’ll be seeing on Facebook. In fact, the Timeline is the key ingredient in altering the entire user experience for consumers across the board, and is meant to take over our every Facebook wall as it continues to roll out over all user profiles.

Other keywords of interest include apps, graph, spotify, netflix — again, all huge components of the big F8 news this morning at Facebook’s biggest conference of the year.

For more info on F8, be sure to check out all of our coverage, as well as our roundup for the main keynote. To view the full data on the metrics mentioned above, check out the info graphics below.
