OpenAI buys camera startup Glass Imaging for over $300m, WSJ reports
OpenAI has bought Glass Imaging, a startup whose AI software improves smartphone cameras, in a deal valuing it at more than $300m, the WSJ reports. The price is over three times last year’s valuation. Two former Apple engineers founded the Los Altos company.

Temporal raises $550m at $12.55bn to keep AI agents from failing
Temporal has raised $550m at a $12.55bn valuation, more than double February’s figure and above the $12bn talked about in August. Its open-source software keeps applications, including AI agents, running when something fails. Revenue run rate has passed $250m, it says.

Automattic says Mullenweg is CEO again, three days after removing him
Automattic's board put Matt Mullenweg on paid leave on Wednesday and made its CFO interim chief executive. By Saturday the company said Mullenweg is chairman and CEO with the board's full support. It has not explained either decision. He calls it his fifth coup attempt.
