Google today announced it will be dropping support for Internet Explorer 9 in AdWords at the end of the month. On June 30, 2014, IE users will only be able to access the service with IE10 or IE11.
For those who don’t know, AdWords lets you places ads above, beside, or below Google search results. The service supports the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, IE, and Safari.
So. Much. Tech.
Some of the biggest names in tech are coming to TNW Conference in Amsterdam this May.
Google is quite aggressive at dropping support for older versions of IE, particularly in its more popular services. AdWords is merely playing catch up in this case.
