Google revamps AdWords with more screen real estate for tools and reports, same design as its other Web apps

Google today announced a massive revamp of AdWords that brings it in line with other recently redesigned products like Search, Maps, and Gmail. The new look, which gives more screen real estate to the tools and reports, will be rolling out to all accounts “in the next few weeks.”

Billing, Account Settings (formerly My account), and Help have moved under the gear icon, while charts, tables, and tools have received more space on the page. Important information in your campaign management tabs is now above the fold. Google says it hopes the new design will help you “better navigate through your account and focus more on your data so you continue to grow your business.”
