Yahoo has acquired Wander, the team behind the clever Days photo diary iPhone app, as first noted by VentureBeat. Wander said it will join Yahoo’s Mobile and Emerging Products group, while Days, unlike many of Yahoo’s other acquisitions, will live on as a “standalone entity.”
Days caught our attention when it arrived back in May 2013. Wander launched the app after graduating from TechStars NY and pivoting from a social travel website.
