VideoLAN today updated VLC for iOS with a slew of improvements, including a new design for iOS 7 as well as Google Drive and Dropbox features. You can download the new version now from Apple’s App Store.

We would argue that this release warrants a major version bump, but the team has dubbed this version 2.2.0. You can check out more details on how VLC for iOS has progressed since its re-release in July over on the documentation wiki.
