It’s Amazon Prime Day, the big old discount extravaganza which the company was talking up as a new Black Friday and…so far, it kinda sucks. That’s according to scores of people on Twitter and beyond who are moaning about the meagre offerings.

And the complaints go on and on. While Amazon may drop some cool deals later in the day, it’s a clear case of forgetting the maxim ‘under-promise, over-deliver.’
