Twitter has added built-in translation support to its Windows Phone app with the help of the Microsoft Translator API.

The new update is version 2.2 and works with Windows Phone 8 and Windows Phone 7.5. “See translations of foreign language Tweets to your preferred language,” Twitter noted in its change log.

Earlier this month, Twitter added vintage fitters, Lens app integration and Vine support to its Windows Phone app.

The BlackBerry Twitter app also got an update on Wednesday with changes to images and timeline details.
