To celebrate this outstanding number, I’ve put together an itinerary of some of the best keynotes on the first day of the event! Explore our various tracks of content with this diverse schedule:
10:20 – Guy Kawasaki, Main Stage
On our main stage, don’t miss the opening ceremony. Afterwards, Guy Kawasaki, the man responsible for building Apple’s cult-like status, will present the first keynote of TNW2019!
He basically invented evangelism marketing as Apple’s original chief evangelist from 1983 to 1987, and he was in charge of marketing the very first Macintosh. Kawasaki is now the chief evangelist of Canva and a brand ambassador for Mercedes-Benz.
He’s also authored 15 books, many of which have become bookshelf staples, recently publishing Wise Guy this year. At TNW2019, he’ll host a book signing where you can get your own copy of his latest work.
11:10 – Emanuele Madeddu, Re:Brand
Our marketing track, Re:Brand, will feature some of the top branding experts to share the latest trends. As the Executive Vice President of Global Brand Strategy, Emanuele has kept National Geographic in the spotlight by turning it into a top social media brand. Their marketing presence is genuine, authentic, and raises awareness for global causes like climate change. At TNW2019, he’ll talk about how he brought a traditional media company into the digital age, while maintaining their vision and mission.
12:00 – Karen Wickre, Future of Work
Karen is the author of the best-selling book Taking the Work Out of Networking and the former Editorial Director at Twitter – essentially, she’s a communications expert. Her TNW2019 talk will explain how, in an age of frequent career changes, it’s more important than ever to build a solid social network. Learn how to network for life at Karen’s keynote on the Future of Work track, in partnership with ISS and Heidrick & Struggles.
13:35 – Corinne Vigreux, TheNextWomen Summit
TheNextWomen Summit, in partnership with Accenture and TheNextWomen, is all about celebrating female entrepreneurship and the future of women in tech.
Back in 1991, Corinne Vigreux co-founded TomTom. It all began with an easy-to-use navigational system and it grew from there. TomTom is now a publicly-traded company with offices in over 30 countries, and has expanded its interests to include autonomous driving and smart cities.
Corinne is an integral part of defining TomTom’s existing and future strategy. On top of that, her passion for entrepreneurship led her to found Codam College last year. This innovative coding school has no tuition costs and is open 24/7 – allowing anyone in Amsterdam to learn this essential skill. Get inspired by her stories of female entrepreneurship!
14:50 – James Bridle, Main Stage
James Bridle, a multimedia artist and best-selling author, will discuss the tech hurdles we face at TNW Conference in Amsterdam on May 9 and 10. His new book, New Dark Age, is a collection of gripping examples of how we misidentify the dangers technology presents. Don’t miss him speak about our uncertain tech future.
