The Next Web is coming to Madrid next week: speakers + 100 extra tickets

A quick update about our upcoming evening event in Madrid: all 220 tickets were sold out in a matter of days and we’ve received many requests for extra seats (thanks!).

Fortunately, Wayra was kind enough to make more room available.

We’ve made it possible for another 100 people to register, but this means you’ll need to be present at the event in time: some of you will have to follow what happens on stage on large screens rather than in the auditorium, as this is the only way we could invite more people.

Details for the event

Date and time: Wednesday April 17th, from 7PM to 9PM (followed by an after-party)
Venue: Telefónica Auditorium (Gran Vía 28, entrance at Calle Fuencarral 1)

The 💜 of EU tech

The latest rumblings from the EU tech scene, a story from our wise ol' founder Boris, and some questionable AI art. It's free, every week, in your inbox. Sign up now!

Our kick-ass speakers (20-minute keynote each):

Robin Wauters (aka me), European Editor of The Next Web
Luis Cabiedes, super angel investor and part-time lecturer at IESE
Joe Haslam, chairman of Hot and professor at IE Business School
Inma Martinez, serial entrepreneur in the mobile industry since 2000

Before The Next Web @ Madrid, Wayra is hosting its demoDay at the same venue. Afterwards, we’ll be going to a nearby bar (probably O’Neills but we’ll confirm for sure during the event) for beer and tapas.

If you’re interested in sponsoring the latter part of the evening, get in touch via robin@thenextweb.com.

Most importantly though, register for the event here!

Oh, and if you can’t make it, there’s always our big conference in Amsterdam the week after next.
