Spotify partners with Deutsche Telekom in Germany to offer bundled subscriptions and unlimited streaming

Spotify has bolstered its roster of ISP partners in Europe today with the announcement of a new deal with Deutsche Telekom in Germany.

The partnership, which was announced at IFA in Berlin today and will launch in October, will allow Deutsche Telekom customers to stream unlimited music via a Spotify Premium subscription. Also, Spotify streaming will not have any impact on customers’ data transfer limits.

The deal covers mobile phone, tablet and PC usage and will be available to customers bundled in with some tariffs and as an add-on for others.

Spotify’s other European partnerships include Telia (in Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway), Virgin Media in the UK, Yoigo in Spain, SFR in France and KPN in the Netherlands.

Spotify was relatively late to launch in Germany. It finally arrived in the country in March this year to face established rivals such as Simfy, Deezer, Rdio, Aupeo.
