At its Demand Great event in New York today, Sony Mobile announced the Xperia Z3v, the US version of its flagship smartphone coming to Verizon on October 23.
The $199 Z3v packs a 5.2-inch 1080p display and 20.7MP rear camera. The device is waterproof, and, starting in November, it will offer PlayStation 4 Remote Play support, either through touchscreen controls or paired with a DualShock controller.
Sony rekindled its relationship with Verizon earlier this year by launching the Xperia Z2 Tablet. Customers that purchase the tablet and phone together can save $200 for a limited time. Also in October, Verizon will begin selling the SmartWatch 3. Once the page is live later today, you can register with Verizon for information about pre-ordering the phone.
