Connected home startup SmartThings has released a major update to its iOS app with an easier interface for managing your devices.
The new look hides the main section for device management, replacing it instead with common device actions culled from SmartThings’s initial batch of 10,000 users. An Android update with the redesigned interface is currently in the works.
SmartThings started off as a successful Kickstarter project in 2012. Last month, the company announced $12.5 million in Series A funding. Its hub device costs $99, while kits including sensors start at $199.
