Reddit’s giving 10% of its ad revenue to charities and wants you to decide which ones

Reddit decided last year to give away 10 percent of its ad revenue from 2014 to charity.  It’s now closed its books and revealed that its total amounted to $8,276,594.93, which means it’ll be donating $827,659.49 to charity.

As befits a site powered by its users, the company is putting the choice of the 10 charities that will benefit up to a public vote. It’s partnered with Charity Navigator, so you can search for US charities you think are worthy of the cash.

To vote, you just need to be logged in and head here. You’re allowed to vote for as many charities as you like but will only get one vote per organization. Voting ends at 10am PST on February 25 and Reddit will announce the winners later that day.
