11288003905_b8f36a2fc0_zReadmill has rolled out an update to its iOS app, one that now lets readers catch glimpses of books their friends and fellow readers are currently enjoying.

With the new ‘Feed’ section you can choose which friends and authors you want to “read with”. Then, when you visit your personal feed, you’ll find highlights, reviews and discussions around these books.

We first covered Readmill way back in 2011, noting that it made e-books more social with a beautiful Last.fm-style app for reading. It finally landed on Android back in October.

With the latest update you can also discover Facebook and Twitter friends, and search for people by name, email and description.
