Seattle startup Prosodic this morning announced that it has raised $1.4 million in seed funding from VC firm Ignition Partners and multiple angel investors, including wine connoisseur, social media celebrity and author Gary ‘Vee’ Vaynerchuck and Remer CEO David Remer.

Prosodic offers predictive and real-time analytics software for brands and media companies who engage with end consumers through Facebook.

Basically, the startup’s technology enables brands and publishers to learn when they can reach their Facebook audiences, pinpointing exactly when tend to be online and interacting with the popular social networking service.

In a statement, the company says its predictive analytics platform scales up to more than 330 million Facebook Page ‘likes’, enabling its customers to better plan, target and optimize Facebook content.

Prosodic was founded by CEO Leigh Fatzinger in 2011.
