Continuing to add to its impressive sketching and illustration app Paper, FiftyThree has pushed an update of its iPad app with a focus on ‘Color’, adding four new impressive features as a result.
In a post on its official blog, FiftyThree explains that it is enabling users to bring their creations to life using its new color palettes (handcrafted by color experts), by using its new Mixer feature to mix new shades and create their own expressive colors and custom palettes.
As part of its new color focus, users can take advantage of Paper’s new natural blending technology, which ensures that colors mix the way they should. Throw green and blue together, you’ll get yellow.
Utilising the pressure sensitivity features of the iPad, FiftyThree has enhanced its Expressive Ink Engine to optimally detect pressure input. As it says on its blog: “Drawing, writing, and sketching feel more natural than ever with support for the Pogo Connect.”
If you liked Paper before, you’ll like it a lot more after this update. The app remains a free download but you can purchase in-app brushes and other elements to unlock the app’s full potential.
