It’s worthy to note that, for now, there’s no free trial available. Chances are that will change soon, as there is a trial page live on the Microsoft site. The page, however, only gives the message of “coming soon”.

The difference between the two? Outlook and support. The Home & Student edition doesn’t include Outlook, and only has 90 days of support. The Home & Business version gives you Outlook and includes a full year of support from Microsoft.

What’s new in Office 2011? You’ll be able to use features such as Web Apps to work in the cloud, coauthoring for collaboration, you’ll get the Microsoft Ribbon navigation feature and a few other goodies such as full screen viewing as well.
