Motorola Droid Pro – TNW First Look

If you’re a world-traveling, International person of mystery…and you happen to love Android devices, then Moto has your phone. If you’re not, you’re likely to be disappointed.

The Motorola Droid Pro is a standard Droid phone, with the twist of having a true, phyical keyboard attached. Instead of having to slide it out, a-la the Droid and Droid 2, it simply sits attached to the bottom of the phone in a candy bar style. The keyboard is decent, but not great, but that addition isn’t the big story.

The full story comes into play when you pop open the back of the phone. On the top left you’ll find a Vodaphone/Verizon SIM card. That means that anywhere you can use a Vodaphone device, you can use the Droid Pro. This opens up a world of possibilities.

We’re going to play with the Droid Pro for a few days, then we’ll let you know our final thoughts on it. For now, here’s a quick look at the phone to whet your appetite:
