Microsoft today released Remote PowerShell for Lync Online. The new features are available for all commercial Office 365 customers.

For those who don’t know, Windows PowerShell is a command shell and scripting language. In this case, it can be used to manage and automate aspects of Lync Online from a command-line instead of the browser-based Office 365 admin center.

You can download the Windows PowerShell Module for Lync Online from the Microsoft Download Center. You may also want to check out the documentation and list of Lync Online Cmdlets.
