Mark Your Calendars: 10-10-10 for the MENA ICT Forum in Amman

Previous Jordan ICT Forum The rush of Arabnet 2010 is over and with it have gone most of the exciting events in the region, not counting of course MENA ICT Forum 2010 in Amman, Jordan next month, where the region and world’s most powerful online firms come together to discuss everything MENA ICT especially online.

The forum is to take place on the 10th and 11th of October 2010 with an early registeration day for those of you interested in checking out the culture rich hosting country Jordan.

Themed “Yesterday’s Challenges, Tomorrow’s Opportunities”, presents a unique platform that is built on the success of the well recognized Jordan ICT Forum focused on showcasing the entire MENA region’s ICT and ICTES success stories, trends, opportunities, and future outlook and plans.

Int@j LogoThe event has been organized by the Information Technology Association of Jordan (int@j) which was founded in the year 2000 as an industry-support association for Jordan’s ICT sector.

In addition to a number of inspirational and leading industry speakers, over 500 attendees from the Region and beyond, or in other words the who’s who of the region’s ICT industry are expected to take part in the event.

Speakers include such names as Usama Fayyad Yahoo!’s chief data officer and executive vice president of Research & Strategic Data Solutions, Mo Al Adham founder of TwitVid, Ari Kesisoglu Google’s Regional Manager of Middle East North Africa.

Portraying the spectrum of interested stakeholders in the region, the MENA ICT Forum is expected to present interesting solutions to existing and future challenges in the region by those most qualified on a local and global scale.

MENA ICT ForumThe agenda includes topics such as MENA ‘the online boom’ as an Eco System for Entrepreneurs, VCs, and even education. Buzz terms like outsourcing, cloud computing, and the Arabic content crisis also have their fair share of time during the event.
