Crowdsourcing site Kickstarter today revealed it has hit a new milestone: over 50,000 successfully funded projects. The company, which launched in April 2009, could not have pulled it off without its more than 5 million backers. Here are the latest stats:
Kickstarter has now seen more than 118,000 launched projects and over 11.58 million total pledges. As the site continues to expand internationally, all these figures are bound to explode.
