Between now and Saturday (May 17, 2014) you can pick up a Nintendo 2DS for $99 at Target stores across the US. The portable gaming console would usually retail for $129.99, so the temporary price-cut isn’t earth-shattering by any means. But, it’s a 24 percent discount and dips the system under the magical $100 mark, making this an excellent deal.
The limited-time discount covers the ‘Electric Blue’ and ‘Crimson Red’ models, both of which feature a predominantly black design and a smattering of color on the sides and back. The two consoles are out of stock on Target’s website though, so you’ll need to pick them up in-store.
Still, if you’ve been waiting for an excuse to pick-up a Nintendo console, this could be an impulse buy. I recommend The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds and Fire Emblem Awakening, if you need to pick up a couple of games too.
