Google today announced a great update to its nifty Chromecast device: support for casting Google Play Movies and Google Play Music from the Web. If you don’t feel like using your phone or tablet, you can just visit play.google.com and directly cast movies, shows, and music to your TV.
You’ll need the Google Cast extension installed in Chrome, of course. Just click the Cast icon in the Google Play Web player, and your content will show up on your TV.
