Explore the Top Gear test track with Google’s new 360-degree Street View photos

It’s official. Google has taken its Street View car to the Top Gear test track and mapped the legendary circuit with a stunning set of 360-degree panoramic photographs. You can teleport to the start line right here and follow the Stig, the infamous masked driver from the British TV show, as he races around Chicago, Hammerhead and Gambon in a luscious Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black.

Few of us will ever get the chance to drive around the Top Gear test track, unless we suddenly find fame and land a stint on the show’s recurring “star in a reasonably priced car” competition. Never mind, petrol-heads and Top Gear fanatics, just sit back and immerse yourself in this test track – this is the closest we’ll ever come to taming it ourselves , barring a few quick laps on Forza 5.

As a quick reminder, Google has already mapped the River ThamesVenice, the Galapagos Islands, a deserted city caught up in the Fukushima disaster and Mount Everest with stunning Street View photos. The only question is: Where would you like the Google Street View team to go next?
