Evernote for Windows gets an update: Account switching, LinkedIn sharing and more

Evernote for Windows gets an update: Account switching, LinkedIn sharing and more

Following Evernote’s recent Mac update, the extensive note-keeping app has brought the same changes to the Windows app two weeks later. As you’d expect, Evernote for Windows now features account switching for those that share a computer and also includes new LinkedIn sharing capabilities.

Unfortunately for free users, account switching is for premium users only, but can be used in conjunction with a single free account. Furthermore, the LinkedIn additions bring it up to par with Facebook and Twitter, for easy note sharing.

The Evernote team also fixed a number of bugs and added keyboard shortcuts for increasing and decreasing text sizes (the standard CTRL+/-). More than anything else, these updates keep Evernote for Windows on par with its Mac counterpart — an important message to send to Windows users.
