Welcome to CHEAP, our series about things that are good, but most of all, cheap. CHEAP!

At some point, age catches up with us all. You can’t drink a bottle of wine, eat half a cake, and see your body take it all in its stride forever. You’re going to have to exercise. And when that happens, you best make sure you’ve got a decent pair of headphones to work up a sweat in. I mean, how else are you meant to get through it?

So, friends, here’s an offer just for you: 50 percent off a pair of Bose SoundSport in-ear headphones. That means they’re only $49.95.

Let’s learn some more about these badgals. The Bose SoundSport headphones are resistant to both sweat AND wet weather conditions – so no need to worry about them breaking on first contact with your bodily fluids. They also come with wings (Bose refers to them as StayHear tips) that wedge into your ear (in a comfortable way of course) so they don’t fall out while you’re exercising.

The Bose SoundSport also have a mic and remote built into the wire. Missing calls or reaching into your pocket to change the track are resigned to the past. This leads us onto an important point though: these aren’t Bluetooth headphones. This means they’re only going to work with a phone with a headphone jack. Or a new one with an adaptor in. The choice is yours.

Anyway, $50 for a pair of Bose sport headphones is pretty damn reasonable. As long as they fit in your phone, the SoundSport come at a great price for a premium product.

If you’d like to pick them up, you can get the Apple version here and the Samsung/Android version here. The only difference is the support for the in-line remote. These days, they should work on either phone, but better safe than sorry.

Good luck with all that exercise, hopefully these headphones will make it easier.
