Welcome to CHEAP, our series about things that are good, but most of all, cheap. CHEAP!
Ohhh, we’ve got a good one for you today folks: a 32GB iPad for only $280. Yum, yum, yum.
As you’re on a technology site, you’re probably already aware of the iPad. But, just in case, Apple’s tablet is the most famous (and best-selling) device in its category and has a range of fans – especially in the artist space.
What do you get for your $280? Well, it’s the latest version of the 32GB iPad (6th generation, not the Pro). It comes with a crisp 9.7‑inch Retina display, an 8MP camera with HDR, and up to 10 hours of battery life.
Now, the biggest complaint levelled at the iPad and tablets in general is where they fit into people’s device ecosystem. They sit in a weird middle ground, where they’re not as portable as phones, or as versatile as laptops. Combine this with a high price tag and you can understand why many people choose not to grab themselves a tablet.
Thing is, $280 is a damn good price for a bit of tech as advanced as the iPad, especially when the same model is currently retailing on Apple’s own site for $329.
If you’re wondering what you could use a brand new iPad for, we’re here to help. It’s perfect to read on, better for games than a phone, wonderful to watch videos with (especially on a commute), and would make an amazing gift for your parents or grandparents.
There you have it, a boatload of reasons to grab yourself a 32GB iPad. I mean, at only $280, it’d be rude not to.
