BuddyTV Guide’s iOS app is now listing Hulu Plus’ content

Hulu Plus is now integrated to BuddyTV Guide’s iOS app, its parent company BuddyTV announced. As you may know, Hulu Plus is Hulu’s premium film & TV streaming service – and is currently only available in the US.

As for Buddy TV, it is a TV discovery platform that boasts 5 million unique visitors per month and over 400,000+ downloads on iOS.

While it already indexed cable and pay TV schedules as well as Netflix, iTunes and Amazon programming, listing Hulu’s premium catalogue will be a first for BuddyTV.

Following the integration, Hulu Plus’ programming is now listed within the app’s Watchlist, TV grids, and Search, as well as in its curated entertainment selections.

In addition, the service’s subscribers now get the option to watch content immediately through Hulu Plus, which is linked directly from the BuddyTV Guide:

According to BuddyTV’s co-founder and CEO, Andy Liu, this addition reflects the company’s vision. “It shows our commitment to have the best entertainment content indexed in one place,” he said.
