BT brings live TV and purchased movies to all your devices

BT brings live TV and purchased movies to all your devices

BT has announced that movies bought on a BT TV YouView or Vision+ set top box will now automatically be available to watch on smartphones, tablets and PCs for free. If you buy films from the service you’ll be able to watch them on the Web or up to four different Apple or Android devices.

BT TV’s buy-to-keep movies include titles from 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, Entertainment One UK, NBCUniversal and Disney.

BT launched the option to buy films shown on the service earlier this year. It’s also rolled out TV Everywhere, which lets customers watch a selection of TV channels, including entertainment, kids and BT Sport channels on smartphones, tablets and PCs.

The company unveiled its first Netflix TV bundle last month and has a deal with Curzon Home Cinema to give customers access to titles on the same day as their cinema release.
