Wow, that was fast. Right now if you go to Amazon Wireless and start signing up for a Blackberry Torch 9800 on the individual plan with an AT&T 2-year contract, the phone costs a whopping $0.01. Right now the phone is $99 at AT&T.

As if that doesn’t speak volumes enough about the (lack) of appeal for this phone despite Blackberry’s continued media blitz, Amazon has added a bit of insult to injury by promoting Windows Phone 7 right on the same page as the one cent offer. Ouch.

That said, if you’ve been waiting for a good deal on the Torch, now is certainly your chance.
