U2 made a big appearance at Apple’s iPhone 6 and Apple Watch event on Tuesday, releasing its new album for free to iTunes customers. It looks like we’ll be seeing even more of them at Apple events. In a blog post about the album launch, the band revealed that it will continue to work with Apple to change music consumption.

“We’re collaborating with Apple on some cool stuff over the next couple of years, innovations that will transform the way music is listened to and viewed,” frontman Bono wrote.

Apple CEO Tim Cook mentioned during the keynote that the company began a “deep collaboration” with U2 a decade ago with the launch of a themed iPod.

We’re skeptical whether such a partnership can live up to buzzwords like “innovation” and “transform,” but we’re certainly interested to see what comes of it.
