The new software includes minor fixes for accessing the FaceTime HD camera on mid-2013 MacBook Airs, an issue with external drives being ejected when a computer is put to sleep, a bug affecting HDMI audio and complications with USB Bluetooth adapters.
OS X 10.8.5 arrived on September 13 with updates for Mail, Wi-Fi and screensaver.
