Apple today released OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.5 with a few minor fixes. The update address an issue with the Mail app, AFP file transfer performance over Wi-Fi and a screensaver bug.
The previous version of Mountain Lion, version 10.8.4, came out in June. Apple is gearing up to release OS X Mavericks, the next major version of its desktop OS, later this fall.
