Samsung might be officially unveiling its upcoming Galaxy S8 flagship soon, but images of the new handset keep rolling in – and these might be the best ones yet.
Following the stunning S8 photos revealed by serial leaker Evan Blass earlier this week, tech outlet BGR has obtained another fresh batch of previously unseen pictures of the next-gen Galaxy device.
Backing up previous reports, the images show the phone’s flashy new Super AMOLED screen with very little bezel. The remaining bezel area is filled up a 8MP front-facing camera as well as a bleeding-edge iris scanner. You’ll also notice the physical home button has been replaced by on-screen keys.
Unlike previously seen pics of the S8, it seems the anonymous leaker had enough time to snap some rather decent shots of the handset – though he desperately needs to cut his nails before posting more, please.
The side images give us a closer look at the curved frame as well as the device’s sleek thin design.
Contrary to initial rumors, the photos clearly show Samsung has decided to stick to the standard headphone jack at least for the Galaxy S8. The handset will also come with a USB-C port for charging and file transfers.
In addition to the recently leaked pics and clips, two new videos of plus-sized Galaxy S8 have surfaced on Chienese microblogging service Weibo.
The videos, however, are disappointingly brief and appear to have been captured in a rush. You can watch the footage here:
Samsung is expected to showcase its upcoming flagship on later this month on March 29, with the launch slated later on April 21.
