Oracle put its cloud rival’s AI inside its business apps, and the stock jumped 8%
Oracle is bringing Google’s Gemini models into the enterprise software its customers run on, from Fusion Applications to NetSuite, deepening an unlikely alliance with a cloud rival. Investors sent Oracle up as much as 8%. It is the enterprise trend of the year: give customers a choice of AI model inside tools they already use. The catch, Gartner warns, is that nobody has answered who is liable when an agent gets it wrong.

Jair Bolsonaro is under house arrest and banned from speaking in public. At his son Flávio’s campaign launch, a 46-second AI avatar of him addressed the crowd, openly declaring itself a simulation. That honesty is the point: it sidesteps Brazil’s deepfake rules, which were written to catch lies, and tests whether a court-silenced politician can campaign through a screen. Lula’s camp has taken it to the electoral court.
