OnePlus is now in 16 more countries in Europe

OnePlus is now in 16 more countries in Europe

Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus announced that it has begun selling its One phone and accompanying accessories across 16 more countries in Europe.

Both the 16GB Silk White and 64GB Sandstone Black versions of the One, along with the company’s range of cases, covers and earphones, will now be able in the following countries:

  • Bulgaria
  • Croatia
  • Cyprus
  • Czech Republic
  • Estonia
  • Greece
  • Hungary
  • Ireland
  • Latvia
  • Lithuania
  • Luxembourg
  • Malta
  • Poland
  • Romania
  • Slovakia
  • Slovenia

The company first launched in 17 countries last year, and later expanded to Indonesia and India. As in its other markets, you’ll need a OnePlus invite to buy the One in Europe — but you can also order it without an invite during the weekly open sales every Tuesday.

The 16GB One retails at $290 (€269) and the 64GB version at $323 (€299) — a little less than their launch prices announced last June.

Co-founder Carl Pei will be hosting small launch events this week in Warsaw, Prague and Budapest, where attendees will get to check out the One and get a preview of OnePlus’ own Android fork, OxygenOS.

The company says it will also launch a new product category this April, and debut its second device, the OnePlus 2 in Q3. It’ll be interesting to see how the brand is received across Europe, and whether OnePlus was right to bet on a custom Android ROM for its phones.
