Despite the popularity of the Pictionary-style smartphone application Draw Something, Samsung has taken its time to demonstrate to consumers the capabilities of its Galaxy Note and its S-Pen stylus — until today.
The Galaxy Note’s S-Pen allows users to annotate documents, mark and share directions on Google Maps and many other useful little features. However, an advert showing how the device makes playing Draw Something a more pleasurable experience may resonate better with consumers.

The Galaxy Note is a 5.3-inch Android-powered ‘phablet’, sitting directly between smartphone and tablet, allowing users to utilise its annotation, note-taking and sketching capabilities with its S-Pen. It’s already sold more than 5 million units worldwide.
Draw Something — which is available on Android and iOS devices — has been downloaded 50 million times in 50 days. Users have created billions of drawings, adding 3,000 new pictures every second. On March 21st, OMGPOP, the company behind the game, was bought up by Zynga for $180 million.
Given its success in just short amount of time, it’s almost criminal how long Samsung waited to show off (at least in video form) the Galaxy Note’s ability to turn finger smudged sketches into mini works of art:
