China Gets Wi-Fi iPad, Available From September 17

In the past few moments Apple has announced that it will be making the Wi-Fi model of its iPad available to the Chinese market, available from Apple Retail Stores on September 17 from 10am.

The revolutionary tablet device comes with a suggested pricing structure, starting at CNY3988 for the 16GB model, CNY4788 for 32GB and CNY5588 for 64GB.

Currently, Apple has two retails stores in China; one in Shanghai and the other in Beijing, with a couple more on the way. The Cupertino company is planning to roll out the iPad to many more countries later this year, building on the huge sales it experienced when the device launched, selling 3 million units in just 80 days.
