Office 365 integrates Skype for Business chat and calls on the Web

Office 365 integrates Skype for Business chat and calls on the Web

Microsoft has updated its Office 365 productivity suite on the Web with integrated Skype for Business chat and calls. It’s also brought notifications, settings and help within easy reach across the app.

Fire up the revamped Outlook, OneDrive for Business or the calendar app and you’ll be able to launch Skype for Business by clicking on the icon in the top right hand corner. You can then chat or ring colleagues without leaving your current window.

Office 365 also has a new notifications pane that slides out from the right to display system alerts, personal reminders and new emails.

Similarly, you can access your settings for each Office 365 app without leaving your work by clicking the gear icon.
